Hi, I'm Mrs. Svederus- pronounced /sa-der-us/ the v is silent! I'm excited to be one of your teachers this year. 

I was born and raised here in Red Deer. I have spent the last four years teaching elementary school, but am eager to begin my journey in middle school. Aside from teaching, movement is my passion. I love being outside and exploring our beautiful world; hiking, biking, running- anything outdoors!  When I am not teaching you can find me; getting my sweat on, cooking a new recipe, or walking my dogs. One more passion of mine is traveling- I am planning a Europe trip with my husband whenever the world opens back up. I look forward to getting to know you and learning more about your interests. 

This year I will be teaching grade 8 Physical Education, Math, and Science. All of my favourite subjects, how did I manage that? Also, I'm in the LYNX house- let's go LYNX!
